This gallery displays a selection of photographs taken by the founding trustee and donors during a recent safari to the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. Travel is via direct BA flight to Lusaka and a short scheduled hop to Mfuwe airport near the park gate. We stayed at two excellent lodges in the park, both of which also manage bush camps in the heart of the wilderness for walking safaris lead by well trained and knowledgeable guides.
Our trip was organised by S.Wilson Stephens of Smokesilver Travel and on the ground we were in the hands of Norman Carr Safaris, the original safari company in the Luangwa Valley. The South Luangwa is a huge wilderness with low density safari tourism and an exceptional range of wildlife in beautiful landscapes, so click on the first image below and scroll through the gallery:
